call for papers

The vision & scope of 3rd iiScience International Conference encompasses interdisciplinary & inclusive program in Optical and Physical Sciences and various intertwined branches of formal disciplines. The first event of the series was held at Women University Multan on Mar 02-04, 2020 and the second event was hosted by Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) on March 29-30, 2021 as hybrid event; local host in physical attendance while all other national and international participation was via online attendance. The third event is again being hosted by GCWUF with anticipated plans for a fully physical presence and attendance with limited online contributions. The Int’l Conference with SPIE’s technical sponsorship is gaining its recognition and will provide a forum for academic & industry scientists, engineers and practitioners for sharing research and development experiences. Focusing on Light and Energy as main thematic areas, various branches of physical sciences span and complement Research & Development worldwide. The conference encompasses variety of materials including semiconductors for photonics, solar energy-harvesting and energy storage; fundamental light-matter interactions and applications in chemical science & engineering pertaining to a variety of phenomena. Those may include experimental findings along with their applications in emerging technologies to address the needs of humanity at local and global levels such as application of UV-light sources in disinfection to inhibit the viral outgrowth and harmful microbes. UV-sources augment or replace the chemical disinfections conducive to the sensitive environments. The scope also extends to include the environments and agricultural applications. Accepted and presented full-papers, posters-summaries and invited papers summaries will be published in SPIE’s Proceedings. High-quality substantially extended full papers (journal-ready) will be recommended for publication in SPIE journals appropriate and relevant to the subject and topics.

papers

Authors are invited to submit R&D and concept papers presenting original research work related to the practice and theory related to the scope of iiScience thematic areas. Related proposals for Workshops and Tutorials will be considered. All submissions must describe original and pertinent research, development, and future vision. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to the ones shown below.

These topics should be discussed in terms of research findings, concepts, state-of-the-art, standards, implementations, developments, field trials/experiments, educational goals, and new applications. Submitted or substantially similar papers must not be under review currently for any other publication.
